Colorectal Cancer Screening

1. From ROC year 99 (2010), the Health Promotion Administration expanded four cancer screenings (colorectal, oral, breast, cervical), providing them through NHI-contracted preventive-care facilities and adding colorectal and oral cancer screening to preventive-care services. 2. Colorectal cancer mostly occurs after age 50; the HPA funds a fecal occult blood test once every 2 years for people aged 50 to under 75. 3. If negative, the HPA recommends continuing the test every 2 years; if positive, colonoscopy is recommended for confirmation, and if colonoscopy is not possible, barium enema plus sigmoidoscopy may be used. 4. In the colorectal-screening colonoscopy report (H_BHP_CCS_CUT), the following 4 fields were collected in the early period (Bureau of Health Promotion era) for a colonoscopy-quality-improvement program; because the collected fields were later adjusted, there is no data for subsequent years.

1. 國民健康署自民國 99 年起擴大辦理 4 項癌症（大腸癌、口腔癌、乳癌及 子宮頸癌）篩檢服務，透過全民健保預防保健服務特約醫事服務機構全 面提供大腸癌、乳癌、子宮頸癌與口腔癌篩檢，並將大腸癌、口腔癌篩 檢納入預防保健服務項目。 2. 大腸癌多發生在 50 歲以後，國民健康署補助 50 至未滿 75 歲民眾，每 2 年進行 1 次糞便潛血檢查。 3. 檢查結果若為陰性，國健署建議病患持續每 2 年接受 1 次糞便潛血檢查；若為陽 性，建議接受大腸鏡檢查確診，無法做大腸鏡檢查時，可用鋇劑攝影+乙狀結腸鏡 檢查。 4. 大腸癌篩檢-大腸鏡檢查報告(H_BHP_CCS_CUT)內，以下4欄位係早期(國民健康 局時代)為辦理大腸鏡品質提升之相關計畫所收錄之資料，因資料收錄欄位已調 整，故無後續年度資料。
