0: Not a paired organ; 1: Primary origin on the right side; 2: Primary origin on the left side; 3: Unilateral involvement only, but origin (left or right) unclear; 4: Bilateral involvement but laterality of origin unclear, and the record describes a single primary (uncommon) — e.g. single-histology tumor involving both ovaries; bilateral retinoblastomas; bilateral Wilms tumors; 5: Paired organ, midline tumor.
